The only all-hip hop, all-literature-inspired show presents Edgar Allen Poe at Nuyorican Poets Cafe. The show is hosted and curated by beatboxer/emcee Kid Lucky and BBC founder Susan Hwang. Performers include: Arjun Gupta, D-Cross, Tomasia Got-Flows, Spiritchild, Atlas, Susannah Pryce (w/special guest, contortionist, The Amazing Amy), Adventures of Kaila & The Kid, Mia Pixley and Susan Hwang interpreting Edgar Allen Poe through hip hop. Dust off that old raven costume or come in your most House of Usher shoes. Performers will all be in their Poe-est garb. Audience costumes are optional, but highly encouraged.
