The new Black Arts Movement is painting a new aesthetic, one in which we liberate ourselves from a nature-nurture less society. The unchaining of our ancestral roots, will commence as we celebrate the sanctity of food, nature and communion!
Conjuring the wisdom of our generations past, we will utilize original traditions to help us propel forward into a fusion culture of then and now, by way of Eco-socialism and revolutionary matriarchy experimentation. We acknowledge Nature as our first teacher, we will eat foods from Mother natures bounty and move to her sweet rhythms with performances that are bound to elevate our collective consciousness. Rhythms & Roots is sharp shooting through cultural assimilation via globalization and celebrating the mosaic of indigenous peoples of every land.
